Warehouse and material
Bins, lot numbers, FIFO, kitting, issuing and leftover counting.

Standard modules, three stages that can be implemented separately. Most plants start with SMT loading error-proofing and reel-level traceability, then extend to DIP, test and assembly. Each stage is accepted on its own; the whole plant does not have to be covered at once.
Delivered by process stage
Pick the stage where the problem is concentrated. Each stage runs on its own once live and does not wait for the next one.
Solder paste, stencils, feeder placement tables, loading error-proofing and reel-level traceability. Changeover preparation and wrong-material interception are the main line.

No skipped stations · Closed defect loop See the solution for this stage ASMKey-component verification, weighing, packing and carton binding. Cartons are checked before shipment, so mixed and missing parts are caught in-house.

Scope is decided against the existing system boundary: where order and purchasing are already covered, add shop-floor execution; where the warehouse still runs on ledgers, add material and bin management.
Bins, lot numbers, FIFO, kitting, issuing and leftover counting.
Work-order breakdown, material availability checks, dispatch by line and progress tracking.
Station pass-through checks, production reporting, piece-rate counting and WIP quantity.
First-article inspection, patrol inspection, defect codes, rework and retest records.
Equipment register, parameter capture, SN and carton traceability.
Output, first-pass yield and downtime by line, work order and shift.
How it runs
Every step ends in something that can be signed off, not a verbal understanding.
Follow the actual flow of work orders, material and production reporting to locate where the problems occur.
A module list, implementation order and acceptance criteria, quoted module by module.
Master data, interfaces and hardware deployed together, validated on one line first.
Staged trial runs, accepted against wrong-material interception, traceability lookups and reporting definitions.
When it fits
Match two or more and a per-stage proposal makes sense.
Frequent changeovers and many part numbers; kitting and material search take up most of the setup time.
Reel-level or batch-level records are required, showing which reel went onto which board.
Orders and purchasing live in ERP while the floor still runs on paper, Excel and chat groups.
The plant wants staged go-live and staged acceptance instead of stopping production for a single cutover.
Paired hardware
Racks, data boxes and environmental monitoring come from the same team, with interfaces commissioned together with MES. Models and specifications are listed in the hardware store.
480 bins per rack, lit in sequence by the kitting list, with pick and put-back records written back to MES.

Process stages, number of lines and the problem that hurts most are enough; no requirements document is needed first.
